Freshwater Cable, 28 Stainless Steel Electrodes, 6m spacing
Description
The Freshwater Survey Passive Cable is for 2D and 3D surveys in freshwater. It has 28 stainless steel electrodes spaced 6m apart, with a 29m lead-in. Electrode #1 is at the tail, and #28 is closest to the connector—which is compatible with SwitchBox28 and SwitchBox56(low address port). The maximum exploration depth is 108 feet (33 meters) for combined water column and sub-bottom exploration.
Floating is the preferred deployment method. If you choose to submerge this cable, you will have greater sub bottom exploration depth and resolution but are at risk of damage and loss due to snags on underwater obstructions.
For saltwater conditions, use graphite electrode marine cable options.
